A Prophecy Against Philistia

¹⁵ Thus says the Lord God: Because the Philistines have dealt by revenge and have taken vengeance with a spiteful heart to destroy with everlasting hatred, ¹⁶ therefore thus says the Lord God: I will stretch out My hand against the Philistines and will cut off the Kerethites and destroy the remnant of the seacoast. ¹⁷ I will execute great vengeance upon them with furious rebukes. And they shall know that I am the Lord when I lay My vengeance upon them.
